    John was serving a 10 year sentence. His crime was a $400 travel cheque fraud. Due to contracting T.B. in prison John is not in the best of health. We are all hoping that a new treaty signed between the Australian Government & Thailand will see John returned home in the near future! (Last indication of his timeframe for release was pushed forward to early 2002, it is now 2003 and he is still inside!)
