"All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are
endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one
another in a spirit of brotherhood"
-
Article 1 UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
"As a former political prisoner of Laos, I would like to share with you, primarily, the plight of Political Prisoners throughout the world. Such remarkable people have seen the reality of torture and human suffering in the extreme. Many endure everyday, a living hell, and yet, they survive. Their hopes are sustained through the spirit of extraordinary determination and in the belief that you will champion their freedom."
Due to overwhelming reader requests, these pages have also expanded to include other important topics such as 'Children in Detention' and 'Asylum Seekers'. I hope you will visit our main homepage for Foreign Prisoner Support Services. Your feedback and support is most welcome, as we appreciate the tremendous dedication that volunteers around the world provide to "Give hope to those who need it most!"
