Mexican Businessman before Judge.
Businessman Carlos Ahumada is presented before a judge at Mexico City's Reclusorio Norte prison on April 29, 2004.

Ahumada was deported to Mexico yesterday by Cuba for questioning about his role in a corruption scandal in the Mexico City government.

The scandal has tarnished the image of Mexico City Mayor Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador who until recently enjoyed huge approval ratings and was widely favored for president in the 2006 race.
