Dear freedom-loving women and men:

You have known from the very beginning of our campaign to save the lives of Zhila and Bakhtyar the 13 and 15 year old children, and you are aware of our international efforts to release them. Thousands of you across the world have joined us and declared your readiness to help save the life of these children.

You have started to combine your endless efforts from everywhere in the world to protect Zhila and Bakhtyar.

This campaign quickly became a great international campaign to save Zhila and Bakhtyar Izzdi and it has turned into a challenge of the practise of execution and stoning of children in Iran. We have made great steps forward to save the lives of these children.

As I have informed you in my previous press releases ( for more information please visit www.zhilaa.com) that after the withdrawal of the stoning order in respect of Zhila, the second stage of our activities will be to campaign for their release and to transfer them to a safe place.

There is no doubt that Zhila and Bakhtyar cannot return to their previous place to live due to the reactionary so called “honour” sensations in society which are a threat to them, and might even influence their family. This kind of social pressure often has lead to so-called “Honour Killings”, or suicide by children and young people in Iran.

This threat to the lives of Zhila and Bakhtya remains and is very real.

It is not clear what kind of future awaits Zhila’s new born baby. She remains in care, far from her mother. She needs a safe environment to live in.

We need your financial support to be able to provide protection for Zhila, Bakhtyar, and their baby girl and to transfer them to a safe place.

Your financial help will be allocated to people who can best look after Zhila and Bakhtyar and take this responsibility further.

Those people who make financial donations will be kept informed of how their money has been used.
