This crime must be condemned by the international associations and must be investigated!

According to the news we have received from trusted contacts and also in reference to the press release by the Special Committee in Defence of Jila, Bakhtyar and their baby in Sanandaj, the authorities have given Jila 55 lashes during her stay in detention.

Jila a 13 year old child was not only living her days and nights under the nightmare threat of being stoned or executed, but she has been whipped.

Hereby on my behalf and on behalf of all those who have supported the campaign to free Jila and Bakhtyar, we urge all international organizations to immediately condemn this crime and to investigate it. We also call for the unconditional and immediate release of Jila and Bakhtyar.
