Message: I have been writing to Michael Connel in Bangkwang for several months now and I am trying to get as many people to write to him as possible just to show him that people care. He is only 20 and at present is serving a 99 year sentence. His biggest fear is being forgotten, so let's show him that we care.
His address is on this site. (see Prisons, Thailand, Bangkwang)

Hi! I want to know , how are you working? for human rights ?or...
Reply:
Dear Friend,
The Foreign Prisoner Support Service is a collective group of worldwide
volunteers who work to both promote and to defend human rights around the
world.
Foreign Prisoner Support Services seeks to disclose human rights abuses
accurately, quickly and persistently to governments, intergovernmental
organisations, political groups, companies, and other individuals, to give
hope to those who need it most.
We believe that all humans deserve to be treated with dignity, and that
every person should enjoy all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards.
Best Regards

Forget about the days when it's been cloudy,
but do not forget your hours in the sun...
Forget about the times you've been defeated,
but do not forget the victories you've won.
Forget about the days when you've been lonely,
but do not forget the friendly smiles you've seen...
Forget about the plans that did not seem to work out right, but do not forget to always have a dream.

I would love to write to some people there!

Subject: Phonthong Prison Address
Message:In response to the question raised by Miss Grace, unfortunately, Phonthong Prison
(Laos) is not as accessible to 'mail delivery' as other prisons in more 'open'
countries are. If you wish to help change this then you can write to the Laos
Embassy in your Country and request that foreigners be allowed to recieve
letters and support from the 'outside world'. Or you can select a prisoner's name
and details from our site and write a letter to their Government or Embassy,
requesting support on their behalf. Please make sure you keep your letters respectful
at all times to avoid problems for the prisoner you are seeking to help sponsor.
